TOUCHPOINT – INSOL’s Small Practice Group Newsletter – October 2022
The Highlight Article of the Newsletter was written by Sophia Rolle-Kapousouzoglou and Valdere Murphy in which they dicuss the regulatory regime provided by The Bahamas under the Digital Assets and Registered Exhanges Act, 2020 (“D.A.R.E. Act”) and its proposed amendments. Given the recent collapse of FTX Digital Markets the Article is a timely piece which highlights regulatory powers in The Bahamas and is a case which will see the development of jurisprudence and application of the D.A.R.E. Act.
