The Honourable Mr. Justice Jon Isaacs speaks at The University of The Bahamas Legal Week 2026

Recently, Lennox Paton Consultant, The Honourable Mr. Justice Jon Isaacs, was invited by the Law Society of the University of The Bahamas to address students at their Valedictory Reception and Awards Evening — the closing event of The University of The Bahamas’ Legal Week 2026.

Legal Week is an annual event that brings together members of the Judiciary, the practising Bar, distinguished academics and LL.B. students to engage in thoughtful dialogue on contemporary legal issues. This year’s theme, “Tradition and Innovation: Redefining Law for Today,” offered a key platform for exploring how the legal profession continues to evolve while remaining grounded in its core principles.

Mr. Justice Isaacs’ address offered valuable insight and encouragement to the next generation of legal professionals as they prepare to contribute to the future of the profession in The Bahamas.
