Partner, Sophia Rolle Kapousouzoglou, sits as a panelist at the BFSB Regional Tax & Compliance Symposium

Several Lennox Paton attorneys were in attendance at the Bahamas Financial Services Board Regional Tax & Compliance Symposium, hosted at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, from February 18th – 20th, 2026.  The Symposium, held under the theme “Strengthening International Financial Centers in a Changing Global Order,” explored the critical conversations that are shaping the next chapter of global financial regulation.

Notably, Litigation Partner, Sophia Rolle Kapousouzoglou, sat as a panelist for the compelling session: “Next-Gen Crime: Understanding the Risks of Emerging Tech in the Financial Sector.”  Sophia’s contribution highlighted the complex risk environment created by emerging technologies and the importance of forward-thinking legal and regulatory strategies to safeguard financial systems. Sophia was joined on the panel by Kevin Madura (AlixPartners), Ben Hutten (Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe), David Feder (Fenwick & West) and Alexander Southwell (McDermott Will & Schulte).

Additionally, attorneys from Lennox Paton’s Financial Services Group were well represented at the event and included Partner, Michelle Neville-Clarke and Associates, Lethea Carey and Stanley Burnside.

As innovation and risk now move at the same speed, institutions must anticipate the next wave of disruption. Lennox Paton is proud to contribute its expertise to these crucial and timely conversations, and to support the continued strength, integrity, and global reputation of The Bahamas’ financial services sector.
