Shonté Beneby is an Associate in the firm’s Real Estate Group. Since joining the firm in 2024, her practice focuses primarily on assisting high-net-worth clients with the sale and acquisition of real estate in premier luxury residential communities across New Providence (Nassau) and the Family Islands. She also advises Bahamian and international clients on all aspects of real estate transactions, economic permanent residency, and condo-hotels.

She is routinely involved in advising on complex residential and commercial property matters, as well as drafting applications to the Bahamas Investment Authority and other regulatory bodies. She also advises on all aspects of subdivision and condominium developments, and condominium declarations/structures.

  • Assisted in representing the purchaser of a $28 million property in Lyford Cay Subdivision, New Providence.
  • Assisted in representing the purchaser of a $6 million property in Little Exuma.
  • Assisted in representing the purchaser of an $18 million property in Old Fort Bay Subdivision, New Providence.
  • Assisted in representing the vendor of a $5.5 million dollar property in Eleuthera.
  • Assisted in the sale and purchase of multi-million-dollar condominium units at Aqualina One.
  • Assisting with and advising on a range of matters pertaining to Norman’s Cay, Aqualina, Baker’s Bay, Balmoral, and Windsor Lakes.
  • Assisted with advising various Homeowners Associations on a wide range of enquiries.
  • Advising property owners on real property tax enquiries, reconciliation, and appeals.
  • Advised and represented Mortgagors in secured financing transactions.
