Phillip is a Senior Associate in the Litigation Department of the BVI office. Phillip routinely handles complex corporate and commercial disputes including shareholder disputes, insolvency matters, fraud and asset tracing, and trust litigation. Prior to relocating to the BVI, Phillip qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2011 with a strong regional law firm. His instructions came from large private limited companies, PLCs as well as high-net-worth individuals. He regularly dealt with matters in the Chancery and Queen’s Bench Divisions of the English High Court.
Phillip also has excellence experience in insolvency-related matters, having regularly acted for insolvency practitioners in the recovery and realisation of money and assets. The Legal 500 in both the 2017 & 2018 editions have noted Phillip as a ‘Next Generation Lawyer’ in respect of Insolvency and Corporate Recovery-related work. Since joining Lennox Paton in late 2018, Phillip has represented trustees, BVI companies, shareholders, ultimate beneficial owners and clients who wish to make applications against a BVI company.
