Rob McIntyre | Partner
Rob is a partner of the firm and head of its BVI Corporate and Commercial and Investment Funds Groups. Rob has a wealth of experience having practised BVI law since 1996. Rob's areas of practice include Investment Funds, Corporate, Banking, Finance, Securities and Mergers and Acquisitions.
Rob is a former Chairman of the BVI Mutual Fund Practitioners
Association. He has also sat on a number of committees advising the
BVI Government and the BVI Financial Services Commission on the
development of legislation and regulation. Rob has also presented
or sat as a panel member at various fund conferences.
Before joining Lennox Paton, Rob was Managing Partner in the BVI
and Head of BVI Funds for one of the leading offshore law firms.
Rob has acted for some of the world's largest hedge funds and has
advised investment managers from around the world on the
structuring and operation of funds in the BVI. Rob has also advised
numerous banks and other financial institutions on lending to,
structuring and the operation of BVI vehicles.
Rob is also an English qualified solicitor (non-practising) and is admitted to practise in Anguilla .
