Karen Havice has substantial experience in commercial real estate matters, with an emphasis on development, acquisitions and sales, and financing. Her development work includes structuring and drafting documentation for timeshare/fractional, condominiums, condominium hotels, townhome/short-term rental, and mixed-use projects, and includes representation of several major brands. Her acquisition and sales work includes representation of buyers and sellers of hotels, timeshare projects, and other substantial real property transactions. Her financing work includes representation of lenders and borrowers in acquisition loans, development loans, refinancings, and timeshare receivables transactions. Ms. Havice has also represented clients in connection with drafting timeshare legislation in Florida and The Bahamas.

Florida Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer; Florida Real Property and Probate and Business Law Sections of the Florida Bar; American Bar Association. Actively served for several years in various leadership positions for the Central Florida Chapter of the American Diabetes Association.
